WELCOME.   Nestled in the heart of budds beach but only 5 minutes walk from the heart of Surfers Paradise. Bumbles cafe is many things to many people. For residences of the Gold Coast, bumbles is the café where they religiously come each morning grab the morning paper, nod to the barista signaling “the usual”, and plants themselves in their usual seat amongst other regulars. Bumbles becomes part of their living room. For other locals it’s where they come every Saturday morning to meet their group of girlfriends and have-a-chat while they nibble on bumbles homemade fig toast, whilst others pull up their jetski’s on the beach and have lunch in the park. On the other hand during the week you will find the ‘blueroom’ filled with lawyers in their pinstriped suits holding their meetings, book club ladies lunching, and mid week celebrations of all shapes and sizes. Bumbles Cafe is many things to many people. The shop itself continues to evolve and capture peoples taste buds and imagination, there is nowhere else like bumbles. In the beginning the shop consisted of 4 tables out side and the bench seat inside. As bumbles started to arrest the heart of all lovers of food and great coffee demand for more tables and chairs arose to what you see today. The pavement has been extended to capitalize on the beautiful outlook of the river, the photo room was put in during 2005, the blue room and ‘the alley’ in 2006, the new lounge and dinning room in 2007, and many more plans to come.
